E-trustee is the first escrow provider for the exchange of services in New Zealand. The escrow service involves holding a buyer's payment for a service in a trust account. When the work is agreed complete, the service provider is paid within two working days.

• Buyers are financially protected as their money is not paid to the service provider until the buyer agrees the work is complete.
• Service providers are financially protected as they are guaranteed to get paid within two working days of completing work.
